OUR MATERIALS

STERLING SILVER 925 is very high quality & natural material. It's silver and will last forever. That being said it will naturally darken and does need to be cleaned. All of our silver pieces are sterling silver.

GOLD PLATED SILVER (vermeil) is sterling silver which has been plated with a thick layer of 24 karat gold. 

GOLD-FILLED is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded to a base of metal.
Gold filled is used for all of our gold chains. Gold filled means that it has an overall higher amount of gold then plated, which is needed for items so delicate and intimate such as chains.

PEARLS making process - a core is put inside an oyster or mussel, and around it the oyster secretes layer after layer of nacre, the substance that forms the final pearl.
The shape of the core defines the final shape of the pearl.
We use different shapes of pearl such as rice, baroque, drop, long and round.
- Due to the organic nature of the pearls, no two pieces are exactly alike. There will be slight differences in color, shape and texture.

MOTHER OF PEARL is an organic material, produced by some mollusk as an inner shell layer. It is strong, resilient, and iridescent. We mostly use in our settings the Aqua blue and White colors.
